NAIFA Submits Formal Comments to SEC on Fiduciary Study Individual and Joint Comments Submitted

In comments submitted today to the Securities and Exchange Commission on the issues surrounding the Commission’s forthcoming study on the standards of care governing broker-dealers and investment advisers, the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors said its members have a history of serving their clients “ethically and in their best interests (to) ensure a vigorous level of investor protection that rivals any new standards that may be put in place.”

  • Outside the Box Innovators, who create great ideas that, lead to an increased bottom line for their local association and its members.

  • Agents of Hope who act as catalysts…inspiring those around them to be their best to maximize their local association’s potential.

Module # 4: July 20, 2010, 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Advocacy Training

A special Grassroots Advocacy Training session will be held on Tuesday, July 20, 2010 during our Annual Career Advancement Conference. During this session local association volunteer leaders will learn how to leverage their members’ political influence and power to affect a positive outcome for our industry.
