Medical loss ratio harms consumers, agents

A new survey by the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors shows that the federal health care law’s medical loss ratio provision has had a devastating effect on agents’ ability to maintain a high level of customer service to their clients.

***Please note that the Citizen's Agent Certification Program Class on Wednesday morning which was advertised earlier, has been replaced with Writing Commercial with Citizen's with Confidence.Attending the Writing Commercial with Confidence Citizen's class will will enable agents currently writing commercial polices to get more familiar with the submission process. This course will focus on Citizens’ commercial underwriting process, utilizing the correct forms and required submission items for the different lines of business. The course will also include insights and helpful tips from the Commercial Underwriting department that will help save agents time when writing commercial business.
