All members of FAIFA are encouraged to join FAIFAPAC, FAIFA’s Political Action Committee. For as little as $50 per year (Investor Level), you can join your PAC which contributes to the election campaigns of candidates running for the Florida Legislature and the US Congress. PAC contributions effectively remind candidates that career agents, financial planners, employee benefits specialists, brokers, independent agents, and multiline agents are involved in their communities and are concerned about legislative issues as they impact consumers and agents. The candidates we support appreciate the value you bring to your clients and understand the important financial roles that insurance and financial advisors play in the U.S. economy. People who contribute to FAIFAPAC are just like you -- members of FAIFA who work hard and don't want the government making their business lives inoperable.
Remember, all PAC contributions must be personal funds, as corporate contributions are not allowed. Contributions are not tax deductible. To join FAIFAPAC, make out your check to "IFAPAC" and write the name of your local association in the "Memo" line. Then mail the check to "IFAPAC", Lock Box 85080, Richmond, VA 23285-4614.
